Shelves & Bookcases

We're just starting to build some interesting cabinets and bookshelves from reclaimed materials.

One of the first (and also one of our very favourites!) is a 'drawer-table-cabinet' piece that we made from salvaged printers drawers. We sandwiched an old unit that printers used to store their artwork and films, between two pieces of salvaged wood. We finished the wood with natural stain and a protective coating and... voila! A very, very cool piece of furniture emerged.
Watch for more great ideas here, as we do more and more reinventing of interesting components or give us a call to talk about a custom made piece.
