Finding the right materials is so much fun!

Salvaged, reclaimed and recycled materials for our furniture and art wind their way into our workshop through innumerable routes.

Wilkins Design Salvaged, Recycled, Reclaimed FurnitureSometimes we purchase salvaged barn boards, scrap/damaged new wood, or live edge pieces from our favourite specialty lumber supplier.

But more often materials are salvaged from dumpsters, purchased from reclamation yards, scooped up off the curb, or donated by eco-friendly people who want to see their unwanted items transformed into new and exciting functional art pieces.

Items Incorporating Salvaged Wood

Each piece is handcrafted to showcase the beauty that is inherent in the unique markings and colouration of salvaged wood

Reclaimed / Repurposed Items

Curbside finds and reclamation treasures are lovingly reincarnated into stunning contemporary art and furniture pieces

Sculpture / Art

Art is all around us. Sometimes the most common things just need a little help to shine.
